Sauerkraut and Sausage
4 Boneless Pork Chops large
1/2 lb Kielbasa light
3 Potatoes large peeled and sliced
2 Tart Apples peeled and sliced thin
2 14 oz. cans Sauerkraut undrained
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Dried Italian Seasoning
1/2 cup White Wine slightly sweet such as Reisling
1 15 oz. can Peas drained
Spray Bean Pot with cooking spray.
In small bowl mix salt, pepper and Italian seasoning together.
Layer potatoes, pork chops, kielbasa, apples and sauerkraut with a small amount of seasoning on each
layer.
Sprinkle the last of the seasoning mix over the sauerkraut and pour the wine over the top.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Remove from the oven and stir in the peas. Return to oven and bake for another 30 minutes.
If pork chops are not falling apart, cut into small pieces and mix back in Bean Pot to serve.
